MARIANA HALLAL

I am a journalist graduated from the Federal University of Pelotas (Brazil). In 2019 I had an internacional experience as an exchange student at University of Coimbra (Portugal), in the Journalism and Communication course.

Now I'm a reporter at O Estado de S. Paulo newspaper and current live in Oxford (England). .

My main interests are in Education and Economics.

Mar/2020 - Current - Reporter at O Estado de S. Paulo newspaper. I worked at Metropole, Economics and Digital sections.

Sep/2019 - Dec/2019 - Trainee at the 30th Estado's Journalism Course. There my colleagues and me developed Choque da Uva, a podcast aimed at young people that talks about science. I collaborated with the podcast production, made some scripts and hosted five episodes.

Feb/2019 - Jul/2019 - Exchange at Coimbra University.

Jul 2017 - Jan 2019 - Intern at Diário Popular Journal. My main activitiies were writing news articles (one a day) and presenting news suggestions. I also wrote and hosted a video released everyday telling the main news of the day.

Apr 2017 - Jun 2017 - Intern at the Federal Institute for Education, Science and Technology (Public Relations). The main tasks included do the clipping, write press releases, attend press and collaborate at the audiovisual productions.
